Upper CapeHolly Ridge Golf Club The year-round Holly Ridge Golf Club offers two LPGA professionals who provide lessons. You can learn from former New England PGA teacher-of-the-year Jane Frost through her golf school or else take a private, one-hour lesson costing $175. The course's other pro, Jean Enright, can also provide private lessons at a rate of $45 for a half-hour and $85 for an hour. And don't forget the free clinics every Saturday at 11 AM during the season.

Hyannis Golf Club PGA pros Mickey Herron and Sue Kaffenburgh, along with instructors Mike Boden and David Porkka, offer individual and group lessons. Their instruction focuses on all skill levels. The club has a great practice facility as well as state-of-the-art video equipment to allow golfers to analyze their own swing and problem areas. Individual lessons cost $35 for a half-hour. Course PGA professionals Gary Philbrick and Mike Haberl provide lessons year-round to improve all areas of your game from driving to putting and all those tricky shots in between. Their individual half-hour rate is $35. Blue Rock Golf Course Head professional Bob Miller, along with his assistant professionals, can help you correct that hook or show you how to make the perfect approach shot. Besides offering a golf school from late spring to early fall, they also provide individual lessons: $55 for a half-hour lesson with Bob Miller, $40 with one of the assistant's. Available year-round, there are indoor facilities available if the weather outside is frightful.

Ocean Edge Golf School The four-day golf school at beautiful Ocean Edge is designed for golfers of all levels looking to build, improve, and refine their game. PGA instructors, headed by director Ron Hallett, cover full-swing techniques, including putting and chipping. The school offers a maximum 6-to-1student/pro ratio and personalized video analysis. You can golf after school too. Deluxe accommodations (double occupancy) are $725 (April to May) or $795 (June and July).
